When You’ll See This
The first time you log in after this security feature is enabled on your account, you'll be shown a QR code (a square barcode) on screen. This is a one-time setup — it only takes a minute and you won't have to do it again unless you change phones.
Register Your Device
Step 1: Log In
Go to the Highway login page and enter your phone number or email address. If your account requires the verification app, a QR code and a setup key will appear on screen.
Step 2: Open Google Authenticator
Open the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
Step 3: Scan the QR Code
Tap the + button in the app.
Select Scan a QR Code.
Point your phone's camera at the QR code on your Highway screen.
If scanning doesn't work, you can type in the setup key manually instead.
Step 4: Enter the 6-Digit Code
Once scanned, the app will start showing a 6-digit code for Highway.
Enter the current code on the Highway screen.
Tap Submit.
That's it — your phone is now registered and you're ready to log in going forward.
Tips & Troubleshooting
Always use the most current code shown in the app (codes refresh every 30 seconds).
Keep your phone secure — it's now part of what protects your Highway account.
Only one phone can be registered per account.
