ELD Connection vs. Visibility
At a carrier fleet level, ELD Connection refers to having your ELD provider account successfully connected with Highway. ELD Visibility refers to the ability to see all vehicles registered under your ELD account.
An ELD Connection is the foundation, and ELD Visibility is the value-added requirement to maximize safety, efficiency and high-fidelity load security.
Where can I see my ELD-visible vehicles?
Log in to your Highway account and navigate to the Equipment tab to connect their ELD and manage their vehicles.
My ELD is connected, why can’t I see all my vehicles?
If some vehicles aren’t showing up, try these quick checks to improve vehicle-level ELD visibility:
Confirm the correct ELD account is connected to Highway
Verify the VIN is correctly listed in the ELD account
Ensure the correct permissions are selected in this ELD account
Check that the ELD device installed in the truck is working and active
How do I mark my vehicles as ELD Exempt?
Carriers can submit vehicles for Highway’s ELD Exempt Verification Process directly from their Equipment Page.
Documentation is required for each vehicle, and once verified, the vehicle will be labeled as ELD Exempt in Highway.
